Experienced Studio Engineers
Studio recording and engineering is nothing new to Steady Ballin Records. In fact, the same engineers that helped the label hit the radio scene, produce music for nation-wide network videos, and made their way into magazines are the same engineers that will be running your recording sessions. They don't just push record, they'll help your track be the best that it can by giving you honest critiques, tips on recording, and including you in the creative control of your music.
Professional & Laid Back Recording Sessions
Although our engineers have years of experience, accolades and accomplishments, their professionalism is only matched by their laid back approach to studio recording. Having fun and being loose is as important to a recording session as knowing your lyrics! They know this and this is how they run their recording sessions: loose enough to make you feel at home but professional enough to keep the session moving toward a successful recording.
Ad-libs, Highlights, and Coaching
The SBR engineers will coach you on how to add highlights to your tracks, what makes a successful ad-lib, what effects would compliment your song, and everything in between. They'll get you to think of your song not as a one-take recording, but the actual composition of the parts of a song.
Equipment and Software
Steady Ballin Records continuously updates and upgrades all of their equipment from their computer hardware, to the software needed to improve production, and even the booth, keyboards, drums and other live instruments they keep in-house. The Steady Ballin Records studio has everything for a successful album.
Quick Vocals to Full Album
There's really no minimum to what you are required to do in order to get in the booth. You can record just your vocals, quick and dirty, that's fine! Or if you want to record just your single, that's fine too. And if you want them to record your entire 2-disc album, they're more than capable! Record only what you need.
Booking Studio Time
Boooking studio time is easy. Just fill out the form below and select what days and times would be best for you. If it doesn't interfere with someone else's slot, you're good to go! From there you can just hit them up on the phone to schedule a time to come in.
Prices & Payments
- (IF By The Hour) $20/hr to record
- (IF By The Song) $25 per song (scheduled for 1.5 hrs, after which it will be $25/hr for that song).
- Hours may be rounded up
- Payments
- In Person: Most people pay in cash. In person payments are only in cash. Just make sure to have enough to cover your scheduled amount of time, and you may want to bring extra just-in-case you go over your scheduled recording hours.
- Online: Online is also a payment option. It must be paid in full. If you wish to pay online, you'll receive an invoice after the booking time has been approved by the engineering staff.
Further Things to Know
Missing Scheduled Times
- If you are going to be late to a scheduled recording session, call ahead to let the engineers know you will be late. If you show late without calling, it's possible the studio will have been shut down for the night and you will miss your session completely.
- If you can't make a date or time, call as soon as possible to reschedule for another date or time. Try to keep a good reputation about your investment into your career.
